Minutes of the June 20, 2012 meeting were approved.
P.A.C.E. presented Nathan with a framed certificate in appreciation of his Eagle Scout project of constructing a ramp at the Eastham United Methodist Church. Thanks to Jeanette for organizing the presentation and to Lori for making the certificate and presenting it to Nathan on behalf of the Committee.
Windmill Weekend Plans:
We are assigned spot #29A, just to the left of the windmill walkway on Samoset Road. Helen & Gary will begin set-up between 9:30-10:00AM. Lori is lending her canopy; Helen will bring 2 tables and 2 chairs. Eileen will call Asa to see if he can pick up bulletin board(s) at the Kerns’. Eileen will get the key for the beach wheelchair shed from Christine at Beaches/Recreation on Friday,9/7/12; Asa will bring PACE’s literature ~10AM on Saturday; Helen will bring the handouts that the Kerns gathered from MOD & CORD; Peggy Kern will do a demographics poster; David Kern will do a poster of the various categories of literature on display; Helen will print up the PACE surveys and will bring a box and pens. Vicky Anderson (Town Hall) is printing copies of our Universal Design info.

Asa will take all the handouts at the end, for filing in PACE’s literature file.
Helen & Gary will break down the canopy.
Re: HP parking signs along the Green – Lori and Helen spoke to Frank. Sheila has given approval for signs on Samoset and Depot Roads near the entrances to the windmill walkways. Frank contacted Neil Andres at DPW to ask that the proper signs be in place prior to Windmill Weekend.
